Section three: hazards identification
Skin: Prolonged or repeated skin contact can cause
slight irritation.
Eye contact: Direct contact can cause slight irritation. Prolonged
contact or repeat contact may cause sensitizing effect on eye irritation.
Vapors may be slightly irritating to eyes.
Inhalation: Inhalation of dust can cause irritation of nose, throat
and lungs, headache, nausea.
Section four: instructions
Instructions: If irritation to eyes, lungs, or respiratory system
occur due to dust remove person to fresh air.
Eye contact: Flush eyes with large amounts of running water for
at least 15 min. holding lids apart to ensure rinsing of entire
area of eye.
Skin contact: wash with soap and water.
If ingested drink lots of water.
Section five: fire
Fire, Flammability Decomposition: Will not support a fire but may
break down into hazardous vapours when burned in a fire.
Section seven: handling
Handling: ventilation, a full or half mask respirator, eye protection
and skin protection are strongly recommended.
Dust should not be inhaled or ingested. When transferring into different containers, wear protective
gloves and masks to avoid skin contact and inhalation.
